LAST PITCH....  We hope you enjoyed today's game. Please help keep Fenway clean. Save your Last Pitch for the marked bins throughout the neighborhood

What is Last Pitch?

The Last Pitch program is an effort to keep The Fenway Neighborhood clean on event days.

With 100+ events and 3.5 million admissions to the ballpark every year, we recognize there are affects to the neighborhood out of our control.

We care. We hear you.

In response the the increasingly vocal, neighborhood voice, Last Pitch is a Pro-Active stance to curb the littering problem.

Who litters? WHY?

Anyone can litter

WHY LITTER?

It's easy

lazy

uncomfortable

NO TRASH BARREL

In the 10 blocks beyond Boylston Street, the presence of trash recepticals is slim. There are 5, three of which are clustered within 75 feet of each other. See map in RED

Now: 10 blocks, 3 trash bins

Events: 10 blocks, 30 trash bins

With the flow of traffic outward from Fenway Park, west to east, we will place Last Pitch at the 1st approached street corners.

The blocks north/south are double the length, and will require bins half way up the block on both sides of the street as well.

PROPOSED RECYCLABLE TRASH BIN SITES

RED ARE EXISTING

Last Pitch bins will be distributed 2 hours before

and picked up 1-2 hours after each large event (20k+?)
